Historic Emily Griffith School To Be Converted Into Hotel, Retail Space

DENVER (CBS4) - The old, historic Emily Griffith School in downtown Denver will be redeveloped into a hotel and retail space. The Denver City Council approved the plan on Monday night.
The building at 13th Avenue and Welton Street, near the Colorado Convention Center and the Denver Civic Center, will also house office space and a parking lot.
The city says developers plan to preserve the older buildings on the campus.
