Emergency Repairs Close Tower Road Ramp To EB I-70 Wednesday

DENVER (CBS4)- Emergency repairs along Interstate 70 will force the closure of a major ramp on Wednesday morning.

The Colorado Department of Transportation will close the Tower Road on ramp to eastbound I-70 for emergency repairs between 7 a.m. and noon on Wednesday.

The work is part of a $25 million project to replace structurally deficient bridge structures. The project will also widen shoulders along I-70 between Tower Road and Colfax Avenue.

Alternate routes:

From southbound Tower Road, go west on East 40th Avenue to Airport Boulevard to reach eastbound I-70.

From northbound Tower Road use Colfax Avenue to reach eastbound I-70.
