Election Turnout Numbers Released

DENVER (CBS4) - Nearly 28,000 voters mailed their ballots this week, the secretary of state's office said Friday.

This is the first partisan election with all-mail ballots.

The secretary of state's office said it would report return numbers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for two weeks, followed by results on Monday and Election Day.

Voters can see a sample ballot at GoVoteColorado.com. When they're there they can also make sure their voter registration and address is correct.

The midterm election features three extremely close and high-profile races for governor, U.S. Senate and the 6th U.S. House district.

Election Day is Nov. 4.
