Edwards Man Arrested For Reckless Driving On I-70

VAIL, Colo. (AP) — A 35-year-old man from Edwards is under arrest after reportedly being involved in several crashes on the highway.

Police and sheriff's deputies were able to stop the man's car in Vail Wednesday afternoon after using stop sticks to disable it. A child who was also inside didn't appear to be harmed but was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Police began pursuing the man after drivers reported that he had hit a guardrail, was standing on the top of the car and acting erratically. Others later called to report that he was repeatedly crashing the car, driving recklessly and throwing items from the car.
