Shots Fired At Edgewater Home, Man Barricades Himself Inside
EDGEWATER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police surrounded a home in Edgewater on Friday morning after a report came in about shots being fired. When police got there a man went back into the home and barricaded himself inside.
Once on scene at approximately 7:30 a.m., police said they heard gunshots coming from inside the home.
The house is located on the 2500 block of Fenton Street. Authorities asked people in that area to stay inside their residences while the operation was going on. It involved SWAT teams and an armored vehicle that rolled up on the lawn outside the house.
There were no reports at noon of anyone being hit by gunshots or being hurt.
At 3:10 p.m., Wheat Ridge police said the street was still closed in the area.

Police still had the house surrounded at 10 p.m. Friday.
