Easter Sunrise Service At Red Rocks Cancelled

MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado Council of Churches announced Thursday that their planned sunrise service on Easter Sunday at Red Rocks Amphitheatre is cancelled.

They said there is too much snow at the venue, and it likely won't melt in time for Sunday's sunrise. In addition, the current forecast calls for more snow on Saturday.

For the comfort and safety of attendees, the sunrise service has been cancelled.
