Denver Holds Off Oral Roberts For 66-65 Win

DENVER (AP) — Joe Rosga scored 13 points with 10 rebounds, Jake Krafka made three free throws at the end and Denver beat Oral Roberts 66-65 on Sunday.

Krafka made a pair of free throws with 49 seconds left for a 65-62 lead, then came up with a steal on Oral Roberts' next possession, got fouled with 11 seconds to go and made 1 of 2 foul shots. Javan White buried a 3-pointer with three seconds left and Krafka missed a pair with a second to go. Emmanuel Nzekwesi's half-court shot at the buzzer was just off line and deflected off the backboard.

Denver led 34-30 at halftime and never trailed after intermission. Daniel Amigo, Christian Mackey and Jake Holtzman each scored 10 for Denver (13-14, 7-6 Summit) and Jake Pemberton grabbed 10 rebounds.

White led ORU (10-20, 4-9) with 19 points, Albert Owens scored 17 and Nzekwesi 12.
