Drivers Get Free Toll Trial On New U.S. 36 Express Lanes

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)- Drivers are getting a free trial of the new Express Lanes along U.S. 36 for part of the summer.

The Express Lanes run between Louisville and Pecos Street in Westminster.

The free testing period lasts until mid-July but does not include the Express Lanes between Pecos Street and downtown Denver.

After that date, pass holders will pay about $7 to make the drive during rush hour.
