Driver Suspected Of Striking Motorcycle, Injuring 2, Turns Self In

DENVER (CBS4) - Two motorcycle riders are in the hospital after a car hit them on Sunday night and then fled.

Andrew Middleton, 36, turned himself in to police on Monday for allegedly hitting the motorcycle.

The crime happened on Colfax Avenue in Denver on the bridge over Interstate 25.

Police say at approximately 9:30 p.m. the car struck the motorcycle the two people were on in the eastbound lanes before driving away.

The motorcycle driver's injuries were described as minor and the passenger's injuries were described as serious, but they are expected to survive.
