Driver Who Crashed Into Lake Loveland Charged

LOVELAND, Colo. - The driver of a car that crashed into Lake Loveland on Saturday night has been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police say Annaliese Vucich of Loveland was driving the car when she crashed into the lake just after 10 p.m. and two people jumped into the water to rescue her.

Vucich, 22, was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and released. She was later transported to the Larimer County Jail for driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, driving a vehicle when blood/breath alcohol content was 0.08 and careless driving.

Vucich was the only person inside the car.
