Driver Runs Off After Car Drops Off Embankment

DENVER (CBS4) - Police are working to determine how a car wound up going off the roadway in Denver Friday morning and dropping off an embankment.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of Santa Fe Drive at Mississippi Avenue, and the vehicle nearly landed in the South Platte River.
Police said after the crash the driver ran away from the scene.
No other cars were involved in the crash.
