Driver Repeatedly Rams Minivan Into Home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Springs police have arrested a 56-year-old woman after they say she repeatedly rammed her minivan into the walls of a home, causing a wall to collapse.

Police say an unidentified mother and small children were at home at the time on Thursday, but they got out of the home before the wall collapsed near where the children had been sitting.

Police arrested Carol Gallegos after a she fled the scene and got into a traffic accident. She is being held on suspicion of DUI, domestic violence and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.

An attorney for Gallegos was not listed in court records.
