Driver Escapes Injury After SUV Crashes Into Cleaners

DENVER (CBS4) - A driver escaped serious injury after his SUV crashed into a dry cleaning shop in southeast Denver on Thursday afternoon.

The SUV smashed through the glass front of the Impressive Cleaners located at 9200 E. Hampden Ave.

Police told CBS4 that no one inside the cleaners was hurt. The driver was examined after the crash.

Officers continue to investigate the crash but one witness said the driver was outside when the SUV started rolling. He jumped inside and accidentally pushed the gas pedal instead of the brakes.

Police have not determined whether the driver will face any charges.
