Drew Brees Breaks Peyton Manning's Career Passing Yards Record
NEW ORLEANS (CBS4) - Drew Brees is now the all-time leading passer in NFL history.
Brees broke the record, held by former Denver Bronco Peyton Manning, in the 2nd Quarter on Monday night against the Washington Redskins.
Brees has 71,968 passing yards, beating Manning's 71,940.
The Broncos quickly responded with a video featuring Manning himself.
"For 1,000 days I've held the record for all-time passing yards in the NFL. And I've gotta tell you it's the been the greatest 1,000 days of my life. And thanks to you, that's over now. And you've ruined that for me," Manning joked.
