Douglas County Zonta Club Hosts Trivia Night Fundraiser
DENVER (CBS4) - The Zonta Club of Douglas County will hold its annual trivia fundraiser next month. The event helps raise money for the nonprofit organization, and for a lucky student heading off to college.
Rhonda Bolich-Lampo from Zonta International explains, "It's a women's service organization. We have clubs all around the world. We're really into promoting women's issues through service and advocacy."
The upcoming event is the 11th annual trivia night, where our very own Ed Greene will be MC.
The proceeds raised from trivia will go back to the community as grants and scholarships for students.
The fundraiser takes place April 11 at the Douglas County Fair Grounds, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Rhonda said, "The registration includes dinner and we'll have a silent auction and a live auction."
In addition, "It's a 'group think,' and you don't have to know the answer individually."
