Dogs Rescued From Midwest Puppy Mills Arrive In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Dumb Friends League released pictures on Monday after volunteers rescued dogs from puppy mills across the Midwest.

The National Mill Dog Rescue brought about 30 dogs to the Denver shelter over the weekend.

The dogs are now receiving care in Colorado. They range in age from 4 months to 10 years old.

"We're expecting some of them will be ready for adoption as early as Tuesday, others will need dental surgery all of them will need to be spay and neutered they'll likely be available for adoption starting next week 19," said Megan Rees of the Dumb Friends League.

All of the available dogs will be featured on the DDFL website.
