Dog Stolen From Pet Store In Denver Found In Thornton

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A dog that was stolen from the store in Denver in February has been found safe.

The 10-week-old Pomeranian taken from the Aquatic Dog store on Iliff and Quebec was found in Thornton.

Surveillance video showed one man distracting an employee while another put the dog under his jacket and walked out.

After the video aired on CBS4 the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office got a number of tips and were able to identify the suspects. Their names have not been released but officials say one was already in jail on unrelated charges.

Authorities are now working to find and arrest the second man.
