Doctor Pulled Unresponsive From Chatfield Reservoir After Storm Dies

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The woman pulled unresponsive from Chatfield Reservoir on Friday has died.

Hope Cassel, 45, was paddleboarding at the swim beach with her three sons around 1 p.m. Friday when a storm came up. Authorities found her unresponsive, wearing an uninflated life vest.

She was taken to the hospital and on life support until Monday morning when she passed.

According to her website, Cassel was board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology at a clinic in Parker, and moved to Colorado from Mississippi in 2006.
