Doctor Impersonator Sentenced For Sex Assaults

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - A 58-year-old man convicted of posing as an immigration doctor to sexually assault Vietnamese women in Colorado has been sentenced to 23 years to life in prison.

An Arapahoe County judge sentenced Kenneth Dean Lee on Wednesday. Lee told investigators he chose victims by going through the phone book and picking Vietnamese surnames. Authorities say he told families he was an immigration doctor.

The victims ranged in age from 9 to 50 years old.

Lee was convicted in August for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in October 2010. But after his arrest in that case, Aurora police connected him to another sexual assault from 1996. He was sentenced to 10 years in that case.

Authorities say Lee admitted to up to six more assaults, but those crimes are unsolved.
