DMV Fixes Problem With New Driver's Licenses, Permits, IDs

DENVER (CBS4)- A technical issue kept the Division of Motor Vehicles from issues new driver's license, permits and ID cards.

Renewals and other services are available online.

Earlier this month, the DMV shut down offices for several days to upgrade the computer system.

Shortly after 5 p.m., officials say the problem was "identified as a vendor issue, specific to the cameras and the ability to take photos for licenses, IDs and permits."
