Dispensaries Pass The State's Undercover Dispensary Test

DENVER (AP) — Colorado marijuana regulators say that no sales to minors were discovered during recent undercover dispensary checks.

The state Department of Revenue announced the undercover age compliance checks Thursday. There were 20 compliance checks in Denver and Pueblo.

The agency praised dispensaries for doing a good job making sure customers are 21 or older. Colorado law prohibits sales and possession of marijuana for minors.

Licensed pot shops face fines up to $100,000 and losing their licenses if they're caught selling weed to a minor.

Colorado has 206 licensed recreational marijuana dispensaries.
