Visits To Dinosaur National Monument Were Down In 2020

(CBS4) - While the coronavirus pandemic led to an increase in visitors at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, the same can't be said for Dinosaur National Monument on the border between Colorado and Utah.

The park reports it saw an 11% decrease in visitors there in 2020. Only 264,266 people visited in 2020, compared to 298,965 in 2019.

There was an uptick in visits in December, though. Approximately 27% more people visited the monument in that month compared to the year before.
