Siemian Turns In Positive Performance
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian threw a nice-looking touchdown pass to tight end Virgil Green in the second quarter on Saturday night after a drive in which he made several accurate completions.
Siemian was 4-for-4 on the 67 yard scoring drive.
Strong response drive by Siemian after throwing an INT. #4Broncos

Siemian threw an interception earlier in the quarter on a deep pass to Cody Latimer. The pass bounced off Latimer and was caught by a Rams defender.
Interception stands, but can't call that one a bad judgement play. Nice play by Rams secondary.

Just before the end of the first half, Siemian was nearly intercepted again.
He wound up throwing 10 completions on 17 attempts with 122 yards, 1 touchdown and and 1 interception.
Siemian is making his case for being the Broncos pick for the starting quarterback in Week 1 of the regular season.
Siemian appears poised and accurate. Looks good. #Broncos

I know it was against LA's 2nd team defense, but I think Siemian looked good enough to win the job on TD drive and 2 minute drill. #4Broncos

I think Siemian did enough to seal the starting job. Wasn't perfect, but if Kubiak already favoring him it was enough. #4Broncos
