Derek Wolfe Keeps Piling Up The Sacks

DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe added to his sack total with a take down of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

With Shane Ray, Wolfe sacked Ryan in the first quarter of Sunday's game, giving him 12.5 sacks in the last 15 games.

Leading up to game against the Falcons, Wolfe had four sacks in the last three games, and 12 in the last 14, including the playoffs and Super Bowl 50.

With 21.5 sacks in his career, Wolfe is now tied for fourteenth on the Broncos all-time sacks list with Shane Dronett (1992-95) and Al Wilson (1999-2006).

Reggie Hayward (2001-20014) and Andre Townsend (1984-1990) currently both have half of a sack more than Wolfe.

With 97.5 sacks, Simon Fletcher (1985-1995) is the Broncos all-time leader in the category.
