Man Suspected Of Shooting His Father In Centennial Taken Into Custody

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies in Arapahoe County have arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred in Centennial Tuesday evening.

According to Julie Brooks with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, the shooting occurred in the 5500 block of South Jebel Way just before 5:30 p.m. and originally came in as a medical call. When medics arrived on scene they found someone who was shot.

Deputies were looking for Jonathon Ryan, 31, who they believe is responsible for shooting his father at their home. He was located Wednesday afternoon after returning to the home.

Officers say Ryan has no criminal history. The condition of Ryan's 71-year-old father hasn't been released.
