Denver's New Mobile Restrooms Are 'Clean & Comfortable'

DENVER (CBS4) - The City of Denver rolled out its new mobile restroom on Saturday.

The project will help provide more access to public restrooms in the central part of the city after a successful pilot program in March.

The new unit is currently at 17th and Wynkoop streets.

"It's colorful, it's inviting, people are already using it here at this location and what we're doing is providing accessible restrooms that are clean and comfortable for people who are out and about enjoying Denver," said Nancy Kuhn, Denver Public Works Communication Director.

Crews will set up the mobile restroom overnight on weekends this summer. They'll also be available for events downtown. The units will be removed and cleaned each night.
