Denver's Frontier Airlines Celebrates 21st Birthday, President Delivers Good News

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver's hometown airline is celebrating its 21st birthday.

Frontier Airlines President Barry Biffle on Monday said the company has had challenges restructuring but is now on a path for 15 percent annual growth.

"Earlier this year we did do a lot of things transitioning the cost structure of the company. We changed out our technology and changed our call center provider and so forth. And that did drive some complaints, but we've seen those complaints moderate over the past two months," Biffle said. "I wouldn't say it's business as usual, but the old Frontier is back from a customer experience perspective."

Biffle said the company has made as much money in the past 10 months as the past 10 years.
