Denver's First Death Penalty Case In 14 Years Set To Begin

DENVER (CBS4) - Opening statements begin Monday in Denver's first death penalty case in 14 years.

Dexter Lewis is accused of fatally stabbing five people at Fero's Bar and Grill in 2012. Police say the attacks happened while Lewis was trying to rob the business. Police say he set the bar on fire to cover up the crime.

Two other men charged in the case accepted plea deals and are currently serving time.
