Zoo officials say the sloth named Charlotte Greenie arrived in the Mile High City in early June and now is on display with her new mate, a 24-year-old male named Elliot.

Charlotte was introduced to Elliot on July 13, and the two spend time together perched in the trees and sleeping next to each other.

Linnaeus's two-toed sloths are an arboreal and nocturnal species native to Central and South America, including Guyana, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru. They spend much of their time upside-down and sleep between 15 and 20 hours a day.
