Tube Keeps Endangered Mangshan Pit Viper From Slithering Away During X-Rays At Denver Zoo

DENVER (CBS4)- A Mangshan pit viper that lives at the Denver Zoo had to take a trip to the veterinarian's office and wasn't too happy about it. Probably because the veterinarians and zookeepers put her in a clear plastic tube to take an X-ray!

The snake is an endangered species native to the southern mountains in China. Very few zoos have pit vipers in captivity.
