Mahali The Hippo Plays Ball In The Pool- In January!

DENVER (CBS4)- Mahali the hippo didn't let this week's cold weather keep him from enjoying the outdoors. The long time Denver zoo resident was pretty active this week with his ball.
Mahali was swimming around the hippo enclosure and seemed to be pretty happy.
Zookeepers say like most hippos, Mahali loves the water and doesn't mind the cold temps.
