Denver Zoo Celebrates 120th Anniversary With New Train

DENVER (CBS4)- The Denver Zoo is celebrating its 120th anniversary with a new train.

The zoo unveiled its updated attraction this week. The new train features larger, more comfortable seats and higher coaches which give riders a better view during the trip.

The train makes a short trip around the woodland garden, the carousel and the flamingo pond.

"It's a quick trip, it's great for kids, and really a nostalgic piece of Denver Zoo history, it's been a favorite of our guests for years," said Denver Zoo spokeswoman Tiffany Grunert.

In the coming months the zoo will also open a new art exhibit along with a new tiger exhibit.
