Denver Zoo Animals Celebrate 4th Of July
DENVER (CBS4)- Animals living at the Denver Zoo got a special treat to celebrate the 4th of July.
The zoo calls it "Red, White and Zoo Enrichment Day" and features special treats for all animals.
That includes exhibit features and other items that keep animals mentally and physically stimulated, like toys to play with or food to find.
The Asian elephants living at the Toyota Elephant Passage were given red, white and blue ice treats during the live elephant demonstration.
