Denver Won't Ban Alcohol In Washington Park

DENVER (CBS4) - City leaders announced Tuesday that they will not ban alcohol at popular Washington Park and 3.2 beer is still allowed.

There a number of changes that go into effect by Memorial Day weekend, including establishing a drop-in permit system for volleyball and other organized group activities.

More restrooms will also be made available and park rangers and mounted patrol officers will be added.
