Denver Woman Running Across The World Gets Unexpected Break

DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver woman literally running around the world for a great cause got a little break on Saturday.

Karen "Casey" Cortese is running seven half-marathons on all seven continents in seven consecutive days. She's raising money for the organization Girls on the Run of the Rockies, which empowers young girls through running.

On Saturday Casey was supposed to finish her journey in Antarctica, but foggy weather has been delaying her. She says she's getting some extra rest and hopes to race soon.
