Denver Aims To Expand Recycling Program

DENVER (CBS4)- Those who live in Denver could begin to pay fees for recycling collection. Right now the service is included in city fees.
The City of Denver has a 26% rate for keeping waste out of landfills. To boost that number, the city council is considering adding weekly recycling and composting for all customers. That would include a fee increase.
The Denver City Council will discuss the proposal on Tuesday night.
