Denver Records Warmest Temperature In 14 Days With More To Come
DENVER (CBS4) - If you've been looking for a break from the cold and snow then you're going to love this Friday factoid.
Temperatures in Denver this afternoon are the warmest they've been in 14 days when the high hit 52°F on Feb. 20.
The 1 p.m. temperature at Denver International Airport was 46° and it was 53°F in City Park.

The warmer weather is just a preview of things to come over the next few days as a ridge of high pressure builds into the central Rockies.
Temperatures have been running well below normal in recent days, including a high of just 16°F on Mar. 4.
Denver's average high for early March is in the lower 50's.
By early next week it looks like some places could climb into the 60's and maybe even near 70°F.
Our next storm system will arrive late next week with cooler temperatures and a chance for some rain and snow.
