Denver Ranks As 4th Fittest City In U.S.

DENVER (CBS4)- It's no surprise to those of us who live here, but Denver ranks among the nation's top fittest cities.

According to "American Fitness Index" Denver ranks as the fourth fittest city in the U.S.

The survey takes many factors into consideration including chronic health problems, access to parks, farmers markets and how easy it is to walk to amenities and services.

Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Portland and San Francisco are among the other top five.
