Denver Police Welcomes New Officers

DENVER (CBS4) - Surrounded by their family and friends, a group of new officers were welcomed into the Denver Police Department on Friday.
One by one, 48 recruits walked across the stage at the Denver Police Academy as their names were called.
This group is unique in that it's the first graduating class under the new director of the Department of Public Safety, and the last for Denver Police Chief Robert White. He's retiring after 46 years.
