Denver Police Want Help Identifying Walmart Robbery Suspect

DENVER (CBS4) – Police in Denver would like the public's help identifying two men in connection with a robbery involving the assault of a store employee.

According to police, on Aug. 12 at approximately 12:10 p.m. two men entered the Walmart located at 7800 East Smith Road. One of the men robbed the store and assaulted the staff while attempting to flee.

The other man left the store before the robbery and didn't engage in the assault. Police are calling him a person of interest.

The suspect who committed the robbery is described as a black man, 5-foot-9, 160 pounds with a beard and glasses. He has some kind of tattoo on his left forearm.
