Denver Police Search For Man Who Assaulted Woman In Her Home

DENVER (CBS4) – Police in Denver would like the public's help identifying a man suspected of unlawfully entering a woman's home and assaulting her.

According to police, last Monday at approximately 7:45 p.m. a woman heard her front door open and found a man standing in the doorway of her residence located in the 4200 block of North Kittredge Street.

"The victim told the suspect to leave and attempted to push him out the door. The suspect then grabbed the victim's arm, and she was injured during the struggle," police said in a statement. "The victim then called the police, relaying that the suspect had previously approached her outside the complex and made unwanted sexual overtures."

The suspect is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with sandy blonde hair with blue eyes.
