Denver Police Donate Socks, Sandwiches To The Homeless

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are showing compassion to some homeless people in the community.
Earlier this month officers took part in a campaign called Cops, Socks and Sandwiches. The department shared video of the event on their Facebook page on Sunday.
Denver police helped make and deliver more than 3,000 sandwiches for the homeless, plus more than 4,000 pairs of socks.
