Denver Mechanic Pleads Guilty To Stealing Cars From Customers

DENVER (CBS4) - A former NFL player working as a mechanic in Denver has reached a plea deal with prosecutors after stealing cars he was hired to fix.

Ostell Miles was scheduled to go on trial on Monday, but instead he will be sentenced for two counts of theft in 60 days.

A year ago angry customers contacted CBS4 about Miles' company the 24 Hour Automotive Group, located near the intersection of Broadway and Exposition. Police wound up raiding the business and arresting Miles.

The judge said the sentence includes paying restitution for all of the victims.

The sentencing hearing will take place on April 3.

Miles played for the Cincinnati Bengals for two seasons in the early 1990s.
