New Southwest Airlines Hangar To Be Added To DIA
DENVER (CBS4) - Southwest Airlines announced more than $100 million to go toward a new hangar at Denver International Airport. It will be the airlines first maintenance hangar in the Mile High City.
The 130,000 square-foot building will allow 75 technicians to work on up to three aircraft inside. The space will allow for eight more aircraft outside.
Construction is expected to begin sometime over the summer and be finished in late 2020.
