DIA Celebrates Record Number Of Passengers

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver International Airport celebrated its busiest year in 2017.
DIA welcomed 60 million passengers through Dec. 23 this year. That's well above the 53 million who came through the airport in 2016.
The airport says there's a simple explanation for the increased traffic: the Denver metro area's population growth.
