Denver International Airport hosts Aviation Learning Day on Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day

Denver International Airport celebrated Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day with Aviation Learning Day. On Thursday, children and teens explored different job opportunities at the airport. 

They were given tours and had the chance to take workshops for a behind-the-scenes experience. 

"I've been here a lot to come visit relatives or go through TSA, and thought it was kind of a drag and there was nothing fun to do here. After seeing and looking around, I'm seeing there's a lot going on here," said one of the participants. 

The group of 13 to 17-year-olds also had the chance to participate in interviews and send responses through the airport's social media page.
