Denver International Airport Celebrates 20th Anniversary

DENVER (AP) - Denver International Airport is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock on Saturday will join Federal Aviation Administration Administrator Michael Huerta, airport CEO Kim Day, VIPs and other people who helped build and run the airport.

Officials have replaced the voice messages on shuttle trains with the voices of former officials who helped build and open the airport to mark the occasion.

Airport officials say it's also time to look to the future of the airport, which is seen as one of the top economic engines in Colorado.
