Neighbors Notice Bad Smell, Police Discover Body In Apartment
DENVER (CBS4) - Police are investigating a homicide in downtown Denver after officers discovered a body inside an apartment.
Neighbors tell CBS4 they noticed a bad smell a couple of days ago in the Rio Grande Lofts building near 15th and Stout Street.
Officers went to the woman's apartment on a welfare check. When they arrived, they found the body of an adult woman. The victim has not been identified.
Police haven't arrested anyone so far or released any information about a suspect but have confirmed the woman's death is being treated as a homicide.
