Denver Firefighters Find Man Dead After Responding To High Rise Fire Alarm

DENVER (CBS4) – A man was found dead in an apartment fire at a Denver high rise Monday afternoon.

According to the Denver Fire Department, crews responded to a fire alarm at Thomas Bean Towers located at 2350 Cleveland Place just after noon.

When firefighters arrived they made entry into the unit where the fire was reported and found the man's body.

The building's sprinkler system had extinguished the fire in the unit.

The man's name and cause of death haven't been released.

Both the police and fire departments are investigating.
