Denver Fire Chief Back At Work After Stabbing

DENVER (CBS4)- Denver Fire Chief Eric Tade returned to work on Wednesday just one day after he was stabbed and rushed to the hospital.

Tade was stabbed early Tuesday afternoon close to Denver Fire Department Station No. 1, located near the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard. He was in a black, unmarked SUV.

Marlene Zacevich-Rodriguez, 42, was arrested in connection with the stabbing. She was being held for investigation of aggravated assault. Final charges will be determined by the Denver District Attorney's Office.

Tade was stabbed in his hand and has a superficial injury to his right leg. He returned to work on Wednesday.
